In the history, the first ring of china was made in Shang Dynasty. At that time, the material was copper as the gold hadn't been found. People called it "Zhi Huan(??)".Gradually, there were many kinds of materials for rings, such as the gold, and jade. At first, the rings weren't used spcially for wedding.Somehow, we began to call it "Jie Zhi(??)" meaning to taboo something.According to "Wu Jing Yao Yi(????)",the usage of the ring in the beginning was for the imperial concubines. When they were in the menstruate or gestation, these women worn a ting on the left hand to refuse to serve the empire. Recently, we have brought in many things from abroad as the diamong wedding rings. In 1477, the king of Austria, Marksimon I courtshiped the French Prince Mary and placed a diamond ring on her ring finger. By now, this has become a universal custom.

that's a nice info about your history. chna has a rich culture and history. thanks for sharing that. i have learned something new about china. it's an additional knowledge. i didn't know that they used copper instead of gold back then since they haven't discovered gold then. when did they discover gold china. i know that you have gold in china too. when do they started using gold in their accessories. used to be gold is not as important thing in my country in history. it used to be the spices that considered the most precious thing in life. now it's gold. things really change. but i really like gold. it's very great to have a gold. hope i will have one too.

I hope one day someone can give me one ,too. Butby now, I have got only one from my mother in my childhood. It was made of chinese coin. but when I was 8 years old, for my growing, my mama took it off from my finger. Now, I just brought a sliver ring for myself. It's a way of life
