Rose, the mom cat, had 2 that died before we found out she was in labor. They were still dangling. So we ran her to the vets - no IDEA how much this is going to cost since we had to go to the full price vet clinic!
Rose had 4 more, but she's too sick & has no milk so we have the 4 home, her still at the vets.
So, 4 newborn kittens, 5 nearly 2 week old kittens, a sick momma cat & the OTHER 23!!!!
If you can't come & help, at least send prayers/glows/good thoughts!!

Well I hope Rose is feeling better today. Im sorry to hear she got so sick. Are you giving her medicine from the vet. That will help her and make her better. I would have her fixed as soon as you can. Im sending my prayers your way.

I have 23 other cats in the house & they are all fixed, Rose just came in too far along to spay. She is still at the vets, she's too sick to come home & possibly get the ones at home sick, & the babies would really have no chance then. Yeah, she's getting spayed as soon as we can!

Is Rose an old cat? That could be the reason. She's nearing the end of her fertile period, and that could also be why she has no milk. She is going through cat menopause. Hope she gets better. I pray that you have the strength to bear and that you get a windful way to pay like your husband gets a raise.

I sure wish I could come over and help out...I know what it's like to have little newborns/young kittens to feed and it ain't easy I know

Wow!Im sitting here dwelling about the one that came here and youve got bigger toughts to handle.Im totally lost for words.You are a wonderful person and loving to be doing this.You have experience in this and i do not,i hope that you can guide me.I will pray for the little ones and rose and they will all be in my thoughts and you too.

I really wish I was close enough to you, Elic, or I would gladly take the newborns or even the 2wk old kittens off your hands till they are weaned at least. I've had good luck bottle-feeding kittens and making sure they go potty and such. But -sighs- all I can offer are my prayers and good luck with them all. You'll need it with the lack of sleep.

I am sorry about your pet.
Cats are so sweet, but I am sure to have a hard time dealing with more than 20 cats. Specially when you need to care for the 4 new born pets.
I do pray you can handle things and your pet to recover very soon. I am glad you are caring a lot for your pets. God bless!

Aww Iam Sorry to hear that. My prayers are with you and goodluck. Ive had a cat once but when i was much younger so i really dont know much at the moment.
