I have made a mistake,it was on view in 1998,not 1988.1988 is the year that I was born in.

I was about 6...and it was the first movie I cried on. Mufasa dying was the sadest part. :(

I don't know what planet you're from, but The Lion King was released in 1994. I think I was about 8 when I saw it.

I have to correct I was 16 when the movie was out. I checked it. It wasn't shown in 1988 to which I made the base of my age. The movie was shown 1994. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Lion_King

Don't laugh at me, i watched this movie in 2000. I lived in a small town in East China where internet is something that we never heard before 2000. I listened to the record of the whole movie and later i watched the film and it's just awesome! As a kid i learned many things from the movie, you know. Knowing who you are and taking your place in the circle of life. Just full of wisdom, ain't it? Hakuna matata, it means no worries. This is my favourite. Thanks for your post cause it recalls my sweet memory.

I did the math and I was seven, and I remember going because it was a LONG drive to the theater, and my parents didn't tell us what movie we were going to see.

I can't exactly remember how old was I when I saw that movie. Probably, it was 10 years ago, this means I was around 11-12 years old. I went to theatre with my parents to watch that movie. And that was quite an experience. I liked that movie so much I still can remember every scene of it. The animation, the story, the music was magical. How can I not fall in love with Simba, Timon and Pumba? They were soooo cute. I am sure that it is the best animation movie I have ever seen..

I cannot remember when I watch it, but I think I was younger than you, because when I was 10 I was more into the internet than watching tapes. I think I was about 5 or something.

I remember when The Lion King came out in 1994 so I was 12 years old. I love anything Disney and The Lion King is one of my favourites, but my first favourite is Beauty and the Beast.

I was not able to watch "Lion King" when it was first shown on theaters. It was 2005 when I first saw the movie. And, i didn't intentionally watched it. I happened to watch the movie during my check up when i was pregnant. Since then, i started loving the movie. In fact, when it's the first movie seen by my baby. He was one when he first saw the movie. From then on, he's watching it over and over again. Now, he's 2 1/2 yrs old already and he's still love watching it. The lines and scenes are so familiar with him. He can even tell what's next. His favorite parts are those scenes with singing. "Lion King" is such a good movie. A lot of moral lessons that you can get from the story.

Was it in 1988? Or in the early 1990s? I was already in high school I guess when I watched Lion King. I mean, is this the HAKUNA MATATA thing? I was kind of well aware already of the movie so if its in 1988 then could that be another version of Lion king?
