I have a friend who said it's a stripper thing or a guy thinks someones uhm easy. I think she's wrong with that, I love him I thinks he's a romantic he won't admit it he's a mancho ,but he really is a sensitive guy who hides it while. Red for romance or for uhm booty call?

red is rarely taken as a booty call as far as i know, it's more often the color of love, romance, it's a deep color, emotion, as well as shade, but you have to be careful with the actually shade if it's something your going to allow if he moves in. the only thing is that sometimes red can also be taken as violent, anger and such. The best thing to do is look up color meanings and decide if it's something you want to live with, sleep around and such, if it were me i would paint my kitchen black, living room either a specific shade of red or a deep forest green, and my bedrooms blue or specific purple. and one day i will have my way!

you don't seem to understand the meanings and what not that colors have, and as well, the environments that they can cause by just being part of your decor, why don't you check it out some time. or pay attention to how you feel in rooms painted certain colors.

It's probably for neither. It's very common for people to paint rooms their favorite color, that's why it's their favorite. It's the same thing with other things. People buy clothes of their favorite color, get electronics of their favorite color, etc. Everyone has preferences, there's nothing to read into here.

I think it can mean romance passion and a booty call..Why not all? Maybe he just likes the color and you're thinking too much into it!

Hi I just wanted a response to it I know his favorite colour is crimson red I think he's romantic and so forth it was a friend in my class who turned around and said red mean ladies of the night. I think it's a nice colour so I'd let him paint that colour I need a change that's if I was living with him not yet it's on my list on things someday

Hey I have a red bedroom!! Nothing wrong with that - it's just red is my favourite colour. I have had people tell me it looks like a room in a brothel but I like it. It's cosy. As for what red means it usually signifies passion and aggression. I've never thought of it as a romantic colour. Maybe he just likes the colour red and it doesn't mean anything lol!

hi His fav colour is red ,but I think he's kind of romantic. He likes crimson red I think that would be a nice colour a girl in my class labeled the colour of a bedroom to be bad if she hadn't said that I wouldn't have thought of it as bad. He's not the player type he's the type to love and show how he feels. He doesn't always say ,but he shows it. I told him when I live with him I'll let him paint the bedroom he was like a kid at x-mas then he turned around and asked me if he could have gold axcents in the room I'm like sure it's your room do whatever u want. I want him to be happy I also think red is romantic if it's 2 people who are in love sharing the room. To me in that case it would be romance. He's a keeper I know he's not shared when I talk this way in time I'm just waiting to be his forever

I think you could just say that red is a "passionate" color and leave it at that. Sounds more macho than "romantic" and not cheap like "booty call" :-) And really, if his favorite color was blue or green, and he wanted a room that color, you wouldn't even think twice about it, so I wouldn't read too much into red paint either.

I have a friend in my class who thought red meant bad things ,but I know crimson red is his fav colour, he is a little mancho ,but he is passionate and romantic and all that. The colour suits him, I told him when we live together he can paint the bedroom red and it would be a nice colour I've been wanting to have something of my style, he turned around and asked me if he could put gold axcents I'm like you can do whatever u want it would be cool. He was like a kid on christmas day he was so happy.

It's a good thing that he's a sensitive guy. Red is good, too. It is especially good that he's not so sensitive that he wants the bedroom walls PINK! Pink walls would drive me straight up the wall -- I love red too but hate pink. (grin)

Hi He likes red it's his fav colour he loves crimson red. He's kind of romantic ,but trys to hide it. He's a keeper I'll tell u that much about him uhm I don't like pink either if he wanted pink I'd have to question his sexuality and what he likes. I'm not living with him yet I want to I told him when I live with him he can have the bedroom red. He was sooo happy I never seen him so happy he turned around and asked me if he could have gold axcents I'm like whatever you want. I care about him I want him to be happy. I think crimson is nice I was thinking about how we'd do the room after I said it I had this pic in my mind. When we live together we can't right now though it's all about money.

well, his he an Alabama fan? I know my husband's favorite color is crimson as well and it's only cause he's a Bama fan. The romantic or just plain kinky stuff is usually red lights instead of regular lights in the lamps or something like that. who knows

maybe that is just a coincidence and it has nothing to do with the favorite color of your boyfriend.

I am not sure what the significance is of the colour red. It certainly is an odd colour for bedroom wall;s, & one he is likely to tire off quickly. It could be a sign of rebellion. Maybe his parents were too restrictive with him.

Ok, I'm old and old fashioned but years back I know a red light in a bedroom ment 'easy loss women' but I watch HGTV alot and I am amazed at how many decorators are painting rooms red or at least accent walls. And it looks great - very classy in my opinion. I don't know that old eggshell white me would do it but I to like the look. I don't think your boyfriend wanting to do this really means anything more than he likes red :)

It could be a booty call. Me and my brother had an apartment in chicago and we painted the walls red in certain room, we also had a red light bulb that you could see from outside. When that light was on it meant stay away I have a booty call.

I my boyfriend wanted to do such thing I would think he turned into metrosexual and he would start to use face moistuizer:P But seriously my bf has no interest in these things. I think red is for romance in this case. Thoug I don't know him in person so I may be wrong as well.

I am no expert but to me red stands for power. It is a strong color and that I do know. I guess even though this discussion was started 2 years ago I am curious if you ever got to paint the town red. Take care and happy mylotting to you.
