I buy alot of things in mulitpacks especially my paper products because I hate running out of them. Even though I live alone I hate running out of toilet paper, paper towels and kleenex. How do you buy your products? Do you buy just what you need or do you buy multipacks?

I agree with you, I also buy multipackages... I go shopping often, but still I like to have enough supplies of basic stuff, like toilet paper, soap, shampoo, etc... I hate to have to run to the store to get simple stuff.

I almost always buy multipacks if they are available on whatever I am buying. My family is a bit obsessive about stocking up on things, though. My husband and I both have problems with overstocking. Right now we have 2 of the big packs of toilet paper that are full. They are the giant and the mega roll packs. I think they are each equal to 24 rolls. We also have over 20 rolls of paper towels. And we don't even use them very often. I would say we go through maybe 1.5 rolls of paper towels a month. lol We also stock up on food when it's on sale. I would say that right now we have enough food to last us about three months. And I will be going grocery shopping and buying another month's worth of food next week. We gave away over 50 jars of baby food that we had bought while my son was still on baby food. He decided he was done with it and wouldn't eat it anymore. We also have lots of diapers left in various sizes that he outgrew before we used. We're saving them for the next baby, though. Hopefully I will curb the impulse to keep buying so many diapers for the next kid, so we won't have hundreds left like we do now.

I rarely buy anything in multi packs because I can get singles cheaper with coupons. I buy TP in multi packs - I don't know any other way it comes.

What I do is get several coupons from trading or friends. Then when the product goes on sale I buy several. That way it last me a long time and I don't have to worry about buying it all the time. I do this with most things. It is cheaper for me to buy 6 single rolls of paper towels and use 6 coupons than it is to buy one multi pack of paper towels and only use one coupon. I will only buy the Viva Paper towels - I love those!

You can buy it a single roll at a time but that would really be a pain....to continueously go to the store for one roll!

I like buying bulk with alot of things because you save so much money doing so. I buy all my paper products that way and my non perishable food items as well. I have a really big pantry and storage closets so I can store the bulk packages. It would probably be much harder if you had a small apartment with less storage space.

Right..wish I had a big pantry....I have to store my extras in my bedroom closet...but it's pretty big so it's really not a problem.

I, too, buy in multipacks and quantity. I stock up on the paper products but also storable food. I have been accused of having enough food in my home to feed, "the thrashing crew"...which in farming country means the whole neighborhood. When it storms in the winter, I know that I have enough food to sustain me and anyone who is with me for at least 6 months without getting hungry. I don't know where I got into that habit but I am lucky that I have a large home. I also never run out of printer paper...buy it by the reim. I am hopeless and can't change my ways. Haha.

When it comes to things like paper towels or toilet paper or tissues it's really better tu buy multipacks because I would never like to ran out of them. i also buy multipack for juices and food I usually eat like cheese because it's cheeper and in 3 people family even multipack won't last long:P Overall I like multipacks, they're very economical^_^
