SATA vs IDE

Ive been using IDE for my hard disk and im planning to switch to sata. what do you think are the pros and cons on the two?

Been using SATA for a number of years now. Definitely runs faster but can be a bit glitchy if you chage disk configuration all the best urban

Is it okay to use ide and sata at the same time and make sata your primary disk? thanks for the reply

100% support to SATA. The main thing that i found that the the read write speed. i have being using sata for last two year. just go though this url http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serial_ATA

SATA, the best! IDE would be paced off eventually and all of us are bound to upgrade...
