When and what do you usually have for breakfast on a leisure Sunday morning? I usually prepare a brunch at about 11 am. We have hashbrown patties, sausage links, eggs, toast, and coffee. What is your favorite?

I usually just eat cereal with soy milk. The best thing on sunday mornings before football is fresh jelley donuts from your local donut shop. Notthign beats it especailly when you wash it down with some Mcdonald's fresh brewed coffe....I'm getting hungry just thinking about it ;)

Hi marabdl86, Personally, I would have to disagree with you. I am allergic to soy milk, so I would have to eat the cereal dry, which can be good. I am not able to eat donuts, because of stomach problems, and I detest Mcdonald's coffee. But that only applies to me. It sounds to me that you really enjoy this for breakfast and there is nothing wrong with that. I just wish I could enjoy it as well. Life is not always fair, is it? Happy posting..

Hi peanutjar, Sounds like when hubby is home on Sunday, it is all out day for breakfast!! I like to have someone else over too, maybe one of my children and family. That way I can justify cooking a lot. Thanks for responding to this topic. Happy posting..

Sometimes I make fruit smoothies, sometimes pancakes, or often just a bowl of oatmeal or cereal with bananas/raisins.

Hi brimia, That works too. The important thing is that you enjoy the food and the leisure time with it. Happy posting..

We aren't really big on breakfast at our house. Usually if we have breakfast it's something simple like a bowl of cereal, or maybe scrambled eggs and toast for my husband. On Saturdays we sleep so late that we skip breakfast. Sunday we don't have time for a big breakfast before church. Maybe once a month we will have french toast or pancakes or something like that. But my son isn't really into breakfast food, so we don't do it often.

Hi carlaabt, The important thing is that you have something for breakfast. Simple works too. If you have a busy schedule, simple works just fine. Happy posting..

Hi cher, There is nothing wrong with doing a big breakfast on Saturday morning instead of Sunday. It works for you and that is what is important. If I didn't have to work on Saturday morning, I would do it then too. For me, any day off is heaven!! Happy posting..

Hi lightning, Some people have to work on Sunday mornings, I'm just sorry that you have to be one of them. I am happy to hear that on a day off, you enjoy a nice big breakfast, and hopefully it is leisurely. Happy posting..
