I have to conduct two interviews for two of my classes. I figured I would try to find the two people here since I have so many different friends and there are so many different people who use the site.
First, I am looking for one person who is from another culture who is living in or visiting the United States, any age. I have to ask this person questions about their family, background, community they grew up in, cutlure, cost of living, etc.
Second, I am looking for a person over the age of 70 who is living in the United States. I have to ask this person questions about their education, work, wedding(s), children, health, friendships, etc.
I would conduct the interviews over the internet through email or instant messenger. If you fit into either of these categories, don't mind giving me asking you a bunch of questions, and are interested in helping me out I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Hi Molly, Well I don't fit in your first category and I'm under 70 years old. I wish I could help you- it sounds like fun. Just curious- what classes are you taking that require you to do interviews such as this? My son is an English major and I wish I'd actually see him do some assignmnets, LOL

One is for my Family in the Cultural Perspective class and the other is for Family Development in Late Life.

Sorry, Molly, I can't help here.
Just wondering what classes tho.
I had to interview a man and a woman each over 70 for interpersonal communications last semester.

Sorry molly hun but I can't help you. I am in canada and I am not currently visiting in the US. Also my parents aren't even in their 70's so I'm sure not. Good luck though, and I hope you get some responses soon!

Well, as I read your discussion and all of the responses it seems as though you have found a couple of people to help you. I am sorry that I could not have helped you as I am American and I am not over 70. It sounds like a fun project and I think that it will be neat to see what they say.

I would have offered to help if I could, but then, I don't fit the bill as far as the two persons you are looking for is concerned. I do hope that you get good interview subjects to work with. It is excellent that you come here to ask for assistance, because I'm confident you can find them here and there are many people in myLot who wouldn't mind giving you a hand.
