So this is day one I am now almost 14 hours without a smoke. Not feeling to bad but I have the sweats and am feeling a little anxious. I am drinking a lot of water and chewing gum. My pharmisists put me on to a stop study on the net run through my pharmacy. They give me one of the 4 meds available and see me each week to see how its going and changed the doses of the patch. But they don't supply a blog or anywhere i can go and talk to ppl. So I am here can anyone give me any input anything would help. Thanks

You CAN do this. The nicotine will be out of your system in two more days. From then on it will be a mindgame struggle. But you can win against it. I have been quit 4 years this Wednesday. I smoked for 33 years so I can tell you it's not too late. The craves last for at most 5 minutes so if you can tough out each 5 minute interval you'll have it beat. Just think about how well you will breathe, how much you're helping your heart and lungs, how nice you'll smell and how much money you'll have to buy other things when you're not wasting the money on coffin nails anymore! Be strong. Be stubborn. You CAN do this.

hi, you are great to decide to quiting smoking. we all know that smoking is bad for health. someone try to give up it, but they are not strong-minded to do so, therefore, they failed. i have never smoked, but i can image that it is hard to give up a long-term habit. however, where there is a will, there is a way. hope you success.
