supporting parents in their late years....

We all know that in today's fast paced life, we dont have time for ourselves, leave aside our ageing parents. Their needs increase with time and we get more and more caught in our own world. Further, once a man is married, does his wife has the right to ill-treat his parents who reside with him and have spent their lives in making him a man? Is it justified that the wife comes and makes life hell for the ageing parents? What does the he do?

the wife doesn't have any rights to ill-treat anybody much more the persons who raised her partner. the husband must talk to his wife. hear her side first. then, decide from there. if she cannot accept the parents, think twice boy. does the wife really loves her husband? having to love somebody means having to love or at least respect the people around him/her.

No one has the right to maltreat other's, may it be their families or their spouse's family. Both have the responsibility to take care of one's parents, it is inhumane and unjustifiable to mistreat others especially the spouse's parents. I think it is better if the couple would talk about this, discuss and settle whatever differences they have around the family. The only time an outside element (like law enforcers) would intervene is when, the situation comes out of hand and that it turned into a worst case.
