How do u spend ur birthday?

Before I get married, I spent my birthday with my parents, friends, my brother and relatives. We just usually cook some food and everyone will come in the house. However,on my coming birthday, I will spend it with my husband, my friends here in the US and of course my new family here (my in-laws & hubby's sibblings). I am far now from my parents so I can't spend it with them. Well, maybe just celebrate it with them in our minds and hearts.

I am usually sick on my birthday for some reason that is unknown. I always either get a cold or have a classic migrain. The last couple of years, since I married my now husband, I haven't been sick. He always gives me $100 to buy whatever I want and then surprises me with flowers and usually a gift. He tries to make my birthday special. To be honest with you, I usually forget my bithday, I remember it the day before and the day after but if no one says anything, I will usually forget.

Now that I have my own family, I enjoy being with them on my birthday!! However, I also like to have alittle "grown up" time too, and let loose!! LOL

After my marriage life I have change the pattern and formation on celebrating my birthday. This good suggestion actually came from my husband. So now on that day, I will visit my parents, take them for outing and celebrate it at one restaurant or any offered reasonable price and place. Without our parents, we will not exist in this world. Take our parents as priority give out greater meaning rather than we enjoy with our friends.

Before I usually spend my birthday alone at home with just a couple of my best friends coming over. I don't get to spend it with my parents and siblings because unfortunately, I have the same birthday with my grandmother, aunt and cousin. So they would have to attend either one of their birthday celebration. I on the other hand would prefer to simply spend it with my friend and pig out at home. Now however since I already have a job, my family would ask me to treat them or have a party at home. So now the tables have turned and I get to spend a lot of money for my birthday party.
