People currently in the U.S., want a free taco?

A Boston Red Sox player stole a base tonight in World Series game number two, against the Rockies. For that, Taco Bell is giving away one free taco per person next Tuesday on October 30th, from 2pm to 5pm. And that is at every Taco Bell in America. Because the World Series is taking place here, and both teams play in America, thus just this country. Besides, it would be expensive to give free tacos to the whole world. LOL Are you going to take advantage of the free taco? This isn't the first time Taco Bell has done this. If you don't plan on getting a free taco next week, have you ever taken advantage of a similar promotion? Whether you're in America, Canada, or wherever else?

Another World Series watcher. I wonder who you are rooting for? I'll bet it's the Rockies. I would root for them if my husband hadn't been born and raised in Boston!!!!

My very favorite baseball team is the New York Yankees. So obviously the Red Sox are the enemy! LOL But Colorado has been such a feel good story, that I'd probably root for them even if the Red Sox weren't my Yankee rival. : )

My husband is from Massachusetts as well, not directly in Boston but not far outside of it. So we are Sox fans here =]

We were watching the game when that happened and I told Mark I wonder how many people are going to get a free taco just because they can! Then we went into a conversation about how we should get in line and i get one and he gets one and then go to a different taco bell and get more because how they are going to keep track? then we started laughing because it was a silly conversation we were having about getting more than our share of the free tacos.

Our taco bell closed due to high mall rent,so, since I'd have to travel about half an hour, probably not. I'll make my own taco at home, lol. I'll wait til some place wants to give away a free lasagna.Go Sox!!

Yeah, I guess that'd be true to me too! X.X lol. I probably wouldn't mind saving any amount of money. But I just don't plan on going to taco bell for 1 free taco. It isn't worth the gas money for me! Gas is too expensive right now! hehe

I think I might go to Taco Bell on Tuesday, there is one about two blocks from my house. I'll just take a little walk there, that way I can walk off the taco. lol

Maybe if you wear different wigs and glasses you can get a couple free tacos. NOT that I condone that, LOL.

As I don't live in the US, I can't avail myself of this offer. If a sporting match offered free food here, I was interested in that particular sport, I would be very tempted to go. Many of our sporting events have quite expensive food. And I love tacos.

Soccer is the most popular sport in Australia, right? I mean it is called soccer here, but there it is football?

If I am in the area I may pick one up. More fast food resturants should have things like this. It would be good for business. Most people will not just go in and get one taco and leave.

I agree. At the very least most people will buy a drink to go with it.

Sweetie, I will be camping outside their door the night before just to get my hands on one of those hot tacos!!! Just kidding, but I will take advantage of this offer because I live down the street from a Taco Bell. Am a little concerned after they were recalled for ecoli. Maybe I should think it over. I usually do take advantage of free this and that.

Hmmm didn't even know about this until I read it here, and since I am just getting around to reading it, I guess I missed out again! I think I have taken advantage of similar things like this before, but it has been awhile since I have. I think the last time it was at Dairy Queen for a free icecream cone.

Hey, that's cool, I will have to remember this. There was also a few years ago, (or maybe just a couple), that someone had tried to pull one over on Wendy's and said they found a finger in their frosty. So, for one weekend, you could get a .99 frosty free per person. We practically lived on frosty's that weekend because we traveled a lot at that time, and went from one town to another, getting frostys..

I remember that scam, but I don't know if they gave away free frosties here. They may have, but when we're talking about frosties, I'm usually the first in line! : )

Hey Ambie, I remember Taco Bell doing this for the University near where I live a few years back. It was for the Saluki football team. I think!? LOL I never did take advantage of it. I dont really eat the tacos from Taco Bell, they suck basically. If they were giving away a free Steack Supreme Chalupa maybe! lol I love those. Ive also heard them doing this for major league baseball like you were talking about. Bay xx

I would have been happier if Taco Beuno was giving away the free taco. Or if Taco Bell was giving away free steak tacos.

Yeah I guess I could stomach one, hard to get something for free in this world! I guess I could opt for the soft shell, I just think the hard shells are terrible. At least at the Taco Bells around us. They are chewy??? LOL Bay xx

The more the merrier. Free food is good anytime, but especially when money is tight. Sure, they don't cost much, but every little but helps! Just remember it is between 2pm and 5pm. I wouldn't want anyone to show up too early or too late.
