you pull out the winter cozies and put on your sweater and reach into your pocket on your way out to town..... to pull out your hand and realize that wadded up piece of paper that went through the wash is actually a twenty dollar bill?
I love days like that!

I wish I found money. The things I find from hubby & the boys are really not to be desired. I am not lucky enough to find money (wadded & washed or not) I get legos, gum, gum wrappers, check stubs, little pieces of white paper all over the clean & dried clothes. They are really hard to get off. And they always seem to appear in the black/colored loads !!

I would have to say that tissues are my least favorite thing to go through the wash - augh, I have thrown out clothing rather than deal with all that lint and tissue stuck to it - especially black t-shirts. I usually wash my clothes separately now, just in case I miss a pocket on one of the other's clothes that had a tissue in it. my majestic sized clothing is more expensive and more difficult to replace than theirs, lol.

i do wish i could find a 20 my kitties absconded with tho-i still have no idea what they did with it.

OMG, I have only had that happen to me once and it was only a five dollar bill. But I remember being elated when it happened! Hubby once bought a very nice sport coat at Goodwill and when he got it home he found a twenty dollar bill in the inner vest pocket! Yup, it sure makes one's day when this happens!

LOL, I know what you mean! my washer broke so have been going downtown the last few weeks - I was watching someones wash in one of those large industrial machines (front loading with window) and round and round and round I kept seeing this bic type pen showing up. Sure hope the gal discovered it before she put them in the dryer. She was not there for me to tell at the time.

yeah.I always find money that i put somewhere and forgot about.One time i was really broke and i was looking through the inside pockets of my jacket and i found 40 dollars.One time i even found 100 dollars that i put aside for a bill and forgot about.

our last major move I was so ticked off because the movers stole our 2 way radios that I had just purchased! we called the vanlines at the end of the day that they took them and got no satisfaction, they suggested they were probably packed up. tsss. of course when we got our goods and found they were not there it was too late to prove they were stolen.
then I opened up the dryer and found a skirt in there and $80. kind of made up for the grief, a bit.

Oh those are the best days!!!! I remember when I was younger and living at home, I was broke as a joke. I had lost $20 in my jacket a while back and thought it had fallen out of my pocket. I put my jacket on that day that I was broke and there was a hole in my pocket in the jacket lining and for some reason I stuck my hand in the hole and lo and behold there was $20! I was so happy. Once my friend and I were walking along the street and I found $20 just laying there. I of course picked it up, looked around to see if anyone was walking away and it might have been there's but there was no one, so it was my good fortune!
