3 reasons mainly; A) Biscuits tend to be of a harder consistancy than cakes. Cakes are mostly of a more spongy texture. B) You can't dip a cake in your tea. C) You'd be pretty angry if somebody gave you a biscuit with candles on it for your birthday.

I thought they were the same thing, just different names for them. I just made some biscuits or cookies or whatever they are.... yummy
