what are your friends like?

What do you look out for when making friends irrespective of gender? do you have to know the person personally before you have a close relationship i usually trust and get to know the person more as we're get together and do other things together. what about you? share your views.

my friends? hmp.. lets see... i have to be honest to u.. i do not have much friends... i might have a list of friends in my facebook/myspace but i only know like 5% of it... others are just adding me for the fun of it. just to have more friends in their list so they look popular... i hate them but i dont care.. i have 3 best friends actually... 1 is a really really good friend.. she help me through bad times. be there for me and buy me stuff.. but she can be jealous when i talk to her boyfriend... so she'll curse the crap out of me... my another 2 best friends are hypocrite... they are actually REALLY REALLY nice friend to hang out with but they actually go against me when i was at my worst.. they help my enemy and not me.. that was the worst part ever... they did not even listen to me and has already back stab me and scold me... i was like.. wth? this is 3 of my best friend... they are great but also the worst.. i am use to this type of friends already.

yeah, good there is saying that the "the devil you know is better than the angel you don't know" since you know them you can deal with them accordingly. thanks for the response.

ah.. u know what.. i won't bother to deal with them.. i'll just ignore them.. but if they call me. i'll still chat with them like real best buddies.. i'm not trying to be a hypocrite or fake but then this is me.. when people is cruel to me, i hate them for like that FEW seconds... n when they are nice to me again.. i'll like them.. but deep inside me.. i don't forgive nor forget... huh... sound complicated huh....hahahaha

Yeah I think I do the same like you. Being together makes a good relationship and have feeling to take care each others. Making friendship not like a love in the first sight LOL, it's more difficult than love in the first sight.

I agree with you. Before I make a close friend, I usually try to know which person he/she is.because I hope my friend never cheat me. I think one of the most important quality for a friend is honest.
