I have just gotten his newest book and only finished the first chapter but if it is any indication the rest of it ought to be great. The first chapter is about not letting negative criticism get you down ( Now I know some of my friends are laughing at this after today LOL) but he has an amazing way of putting things in perspective. I will let you know what I think about it when I have finished it. If anyone else has read it I would be very interested in your opionion of it.

Thanks for the response, I am enjoying the book a lot and my youngest son is reading it also. I am so thankful for Joel and the inspiration to "just keep on keepin on" he brings. I think we all need someone pointing out the good things in life. We sure get told enough of the bad things and he is such a refreshing change. Keep on reading.

Good news, If you can't find time to read you can buy his book on CD. Then you can listen to it when you get a chance. He always does the recording himself and it is just like he is talking directly to you. I read the first book and then bought the CD's. Sometmes when I am a little down I just start loading them in my CD player and get a little dose of Joel while I work. Hugs

I bought it just as it came out. I saw it in Walmart, and knew I was going to get it and got a copy of the book. Very interesting. It reads just like he preaches, but very good lessons in the book. thanks.

I read his first book "Your Best Life Now" and it changed my entire attitude on life. I started looking at all of the blessing God had given me and not so much at what I was missing. I can assure you that the blessings have increased ten fold, and as he says, God is taking me places I never even dreamed of. Thanks for responding Hugs and Prayers

I haven't got that one yet, though I have seen it on the bookstands. I did get and read Your Best Life Now by Joel Olsteen and if it is as good as that one it should be a very good read.

Am looking for some books on self improvement, focused on being critical and demanding of others/co-workers. (Actually, focusing on how NOT to be so...) Any suggestions???
