Do you want your 3rd eye opened or not?

I saw a TV show last week (Kapuso, Jessica Soho) wherein a woman who wants to see ghosts and spirits had her 3rd eye opened through a very simple ritual. The ritual looks just very simple and took just a minute or 2 and after that she started to see ghosts and spirits already. I really thought that it was very scary and that ones third eye could be opened with a simple ritual. The psychic just pointed two of his fingers on the forehead of the woman who wants her third eye opened and said some 'spells' or 'chants' and its opened. Really scary if i may say so and I don't think I would have the courage to have my third eye opened. I thought of seeing ghost just scares me to death!
How about you? would you want your third eye opened and see all those ghosts and spirits who may be around us?

sweets, that is not the third eye openin that is the invitation to satan. remember, any thing that is GODLY is pleasant not scary.

actually the third eye opening is a psychic thing. It is very normal and everyone is able to do it at some point or another, either through meditation or rituals. It's just how humans were made.

Not all that is Godly is really pleasant. How about the burning of a city by the hand of God or the great flood? They are all scary to think of. Even the thought of God giving me so much trials scares me a lot but it is something that we all have to go through inorder to grow and develop ourselves. I think it is the same with opening the third eye, though i am not ready for it yet. smiles to you too...

Spiders are scary,to me anyway,and snakes to some.But aren't they supposedly your Gids creatures too?
Not everything that is unexplained is satanic. There is a lot between the sky and earth that we can't explain, that doesn't make it satanic.

hmm.... but that was a tv serial and in reallife that can not possible if some one will be like that or wants i think he or she will put in handicapet so i don't think any one will like in real life

Nah. i don't want to see any other beings other than humans and animals. what good it would do to me anyway? what if i see ghosts or spirits or whatever? i'll talk to them and people will see me as crazy! i don't want that. ^.^ and in case these ghosts and spirits wanted to do some unfinished business, i would be the one they would asked the favor of doing it since i can see them and they can talk to me. how much a hassle is that? i mean, i don't want to mind other people's business. i mean, its good to help but that is just not my thing. i would be terrified to see ghosts and spirits! i don't even wanna consider the possibility of feeling them! .

I definitely would not want my "third" eye opened, I am not sure I believe in ghosts and spirits but if there are around, I certainly don't want to encounter them, just leave them be in peace (hopefully in peace)! x

I would prefer to be able to control it too but i haven't heard anyone of those who claimed to have an open third eye to have full control of it. Some just have their lives disrupted too much because they see spirits everywhere. thanks for responding!

I prefer not to do so. I wanna enjoy my life as it is right now. Honestly, I really don't like to see ghosts and some scary thing because it might drive me crazy and it might affect me the way I live my life. Anyway it depends upon a person however, that's how I see it probably because I fear those supernatural things.

I don't want to open my third eye neither. I'm a lot scared of it even I only watched it on television or on movies. Whenever I watched a scary movie, guaranteed that I will not been able to sleep that night. Opening a third eye entails a resposibility, I guess. Because a lot of spirits with unfinished business might come to you to ask for help.

If it were that easy I would want my third eye opened but I am skeptical it can be done that quickly and easily. I always have been led to believe it's very hard and only comes from meditating and hard work. What you saw on the television was probably not real and the woman was just being influenced by the power of suggestion. The man made her believe she could see ghosts but she probably really couldn't.

I would definately want that to happen. I know meditation helps with that, but it never works for me because I am a really big skeptic. That's both a good thing and a bad thing. A bad thing, because I can only believe in what I see. I've seen a couple of ghosts before, but that was when I was younger. It would be really fun to be able to speak to ghosts and all of that. At least you'd know there would be another side of the world.

Most of us do see want we only want to see and believe. If you have seen ghost in the past, i don't understand why you are still a skeptic. however, human as we are, we do tend to rationalize things. I hope you would share with us if and when you have your 3rd eye opened. I would surely find it very interesting what you may have to share. thanks for responding!

I watched that it scared the hell out of me. I wouldn't want that gift it's more of a curse. I don't think I want to walk around seeing spirits. It's bad enough I know that they are around but don't need to see them. I watch Feng shui too and that was scary too it's about a woman who found a bao gou and she took it home and it bless her with lots of money but everyone was cursed who looked into the mirror. She lost her whole family, it had ghosts and spirits and stuff in this movie too but not as scary as the 3rd eye. They also have a similar one with the same name in Chinese and Japanese and both of those are scary too.
