this is long if i explained it all, but the most pupular that i can explain to you is, nigiri is a ball rice with fish on the top, norimaki is a roll of rice with something in the middle and has nori or seaweed that embraces the rice all together, temaki is like shawarma but it is wrap with big pieces of nori instead of bread, inari is sushi with tofu, there are more to explain but i hope this has helped you in a way.

Wow! That was a lot!=) Im a siomai lover too but Im afraid I can't get to 500 in a day. lol! I would eat siomai however way it is prepared; I can go for fried or steamed but steamed is a lot better than fried. I love shark's fin, beef, pork, shrimp, ham, almost everything when it comes to siomai=) And yes, don't forget the ever favorite dip that goes with it -- soy sauce in chili paste..yummy!

I like siomai too. I know that a lot of people are into that whole fried siomai thing, but I gotta admit, steamed siomai is still the best. Steamed siomai with soy sauce and chili paste is love! Oh, and I like shrimp siomai more than pork or sharksfin.
