Do you have a Movie night in your home?

So, when do you have movie night in your home and what do you watch? Who picks the movies to watch? Do you ever have movie night without the kids?
In our house, every night is movie night. Not that we actually watch a lot of television. Well, at least I don't. Lately, my spouse has been watching lots of movies. Mostly by himself. And, my kid is always watching her favorite DVDs.
It's a very special occasion when my husband and I can sit down to watch a movie together. But, that only usually happens after our daughter has gone to sleep for the night. For some reason, movie watching is much more enjoyable now, than before she came along. Maybe, because our time together is more limited. So, we value even the simple couple activities, like movie night.

We watch movies several nights a week...usually one movie on Sunday, two on Monday, one on Wednesday, and two on Saturday. All four of us work together to create our movie list, and then DH picks up six movies from that list every Saturday. And yes, DH and I will occasionally have movie nights without the children, usually on Saturday nights when they have other plans.

We have a family movie night on Saturdays. Although we don't watch *TV*, we do buy boxed series so hubby and I watch a few episodes before bed every night. My daughters do watch their favorite movies throughout the day as time allows them although throughout the week is scarce.

yes i do... with my hubby... once in a while, we watch movie together in his computer... we really enjoy it... those times are really precious... in fact, we just do it last weekend...

we do watch a movie ones in a week.we put the kids to slepp and watch.and we even watch comedy movies along with children.its nice to watch movies with kids but they create a lot of racket and noise but still i enjoy.

We don't really have movie nights that often. There are several shows we watch on TV, so we've usually got a few episodes to catch up from the DVR whenever we have time after our son is in bed.
My son and I watch a lot of DVD's during the day while my husband is at work. They are usually Disney, Elmo, or Nick Jr shows. Of course my son chooses these.
When my husband and I actually do watch a movie together, we usually discuss it and agree on one. Sometimes one of us picks it out, but we have similar taste for the most part.

When the weather sarts to get cold we have movie night on Saturdays. And we take turns getting to pick. Last week was my turn, so it was a lot of movies the kids couldn't watch (Hostel 2, 1408, Mr. Brooks). Usually we pick out a movie or two the kids enjoy and after they go to bed we watch ours. We make a bunch of junk food (thank goodness for my deep fryer), turn of the lights, make a fire in the fireplace and just relax. It's my favorite part of fall and winter.

Speaking about movie night, we have one tonight. We get movies from netflix and three came in the mail today, so it will be movie night for the next two nights (depending on how early we start and finish). We also get at least one childrens movie or family movie so we can watch with our son before he goes to bed. My husband usually picks the movies and if I don't want to watch it I'm on the laptop or reading a book in bed.

Hi,lately we do not watch movies because we are doing other things and my boyfriend sleeps at 7:30 or 8:00 pm to get up for work at 3:30 am.I do watch some with our daughter,like today we rented the movie "Evan Almighty"she said she wanted this,i think its because she saw the animals and she actually is capable of sitting down through the whole thing to watch except for the asking questions thing,hahaha,Whats this?How come?hehe.If we do watch movies its usily Saturday night.We both choose and agree.

Yep, we usually do. Together my husband and I love Monday nights on CBS and watch How I met your mother, Big Bang Theory, 2 1/2 men. But we do also have a night where we watch an acctually movie too. Yep, it does mean more once you have kids we have a 1 1/2 year old daughter it is a treat for us to spend time alone.
