Do you believe in horoscope signs?

I'm not as into the horoscope as a lot of people are but I do have a small belief in them. I'm a Cancer and reading about it I am a true cancer. I fit the description from beginning to end. So many people think it's coincidence but if I read my daily horoscope at the end of the day it's usually what has happened to me! As far as compatibility is concerned it always seems to be that I don't get along with people who are in the "wrong" sign for me. My ex was an Aries and I definitely didn't get along with him and according to the charts I'm not supposed to. The same with one of my daughters who is an Aries...we could never and still have problems seeing eye to eye.
What do you think about hororscopes and signs? What's your sign? Do you fit into it or not?

I do wonder about all the horoscope signs but no I don't believe in them but I do find them interesting and fun to read. I get a good laugh when they come to be accurate though but to fully believe in them, naaa. lol

I'm not a fanatic about my horoscope, but I did have my chart done once...I'm Scorpio with Libra ascendant and moon in Capricorn ..a lot of the other planets are in Leo...I get a long great with Cancers, Leos, Sagittarians, but for some reason not Taurus as much even though it's a sign I'm supposed to get along with...unless of course I'm judging by my mother and grandmother, both Taureans, and I definitely did not get along with them--but maybe cause I'm on the cusp of Scorpio and Sag...I tend to have more Sagitarrian qualities than Scorpio---go figure

It's that "cusp" thing that gets me. I'm cancer but was born on the "cusp" because my birthday is the 21st of July. I'm still more cancerean than anything else.

Yes, I guess I also believe on those descriptions about a certain person's character according to their horoscopes.
But I don't believe in those "lucky number's, colors or days," and even those forecasted faith that they post under it. I don't follow these, as I mostly rely on what I could do for the day and let destiny decided what it would turn out for me..

I never believed in lucky numbers, colors, days or anything along that line. For years I was on a roll as far as the lottery with one number and it happened to be just the street address where I once lived.

No - I also believe that it is just a bunch of random general statements that just happen to be sometimes right. This is readily seen in the twelve sun sign systems, where all of humanity are given twelve statements that allegedly run their lives. 144 for relationship issues.
The methods that use all the planets and rising signs and the like are more impressive, having more statements to astrologers' arsenal for their paying customers. But still that is what I believe they are, random general statements.
I wonder if it is true that the more you pay for a consultation, the more you are apt to believe what you are told. I will have to search to see if such a study was done.

As for the daily horoscopes whenever I read them I make sure it's the end of the day so I can see if what they say will happen really did!

No I don't believe in them nor do I read them. Any one with a good imagation could write them. Years ago I used to read them ll every day. I soon noticed that they all pretty much said the same thing for the day. I know a pastor whose mother used to make a living writing them for a well known newspaper. I believe that you can make them fit any situation if you want to.

I never knew that just anyone could write them. I thought you had to get the information from a chart or something like that. Who knew...lol..

Just about everyone I know is a classic example of what their sign should be, that could be a million years worth of studying people though.Also, the daily horoscopes are general enough that anyone could really find some kind of truth to them, just by applying them to their own lives as they view them...so, when it comes to astrology, I think it's a social study and entertainment, I wouldnt say I believe all is mapped out for us by the stars.

There are times when I read things and totally agree with you but then other times like when my daughter had her full chart done and I read the whole things it made me wonder.

I don't belive in daily forcasts....!!
Becasue its generaly not true for me..I must say its always not true for me. So I don't actually belive it.
But When you are only talking about just horoscope signs...then I do belive it to a great extend..!!
I have noticed it my self. Like cancer people have different type of personalities and aquarious people have different and we can always categorise such people under these zodiac names.
I have read "linda goodmen's" book over this horoscope sings and it tells complete behaviour about each andy every zodiac sign..!!
Now I can make it out by watching a person's behaviour to which zodiac sign he/she belongs..!!
It realy makes me wonder a lot.

Actually I seldom read my daily horoscope but the few times I have it's hit it the day on the nose. I've heard of Linda Goodman but have never read anything she's written. My daughter has though and swears by her.

I believe that your sign description is pretty accurate. And the signs that you are not suppose to be with, you should be aware of , but it isn't set in stone. My mom was a scropio and my dad a leo. They weren't suppose to be together, but they were happily married for 35 years.

I like to read them, ctry, but I do take them with a grain of salt! I subscribe to two that I get daily in my email. I suppose it is like my mother used to say: Some days they are for you, some not. I am a Taurus, and pretty much fit the profile in most ways. I am very much down-to-earth, loyal to a fault, and stubborn as a mule.:)

I am a true Gemini. Though I don't look at a daily horoscope or anything. I have different personalities (Gemini Twin). My ex fiance made up a car plate sign that said "talk fast mood changes every five minutes." HEHE
