I actually use Cheer with color guard. It works great on our clothes and since we have little loads of clothes I can throw them all in together and they come out fine. I also love the smell of it. "COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS" **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

Our family has been using the laundry powder detergent. We have our local brand known as ARIEL which can remove dirt and stain reliably within minutes. It has bleaching properties blended already and can guarantee better washing effects.

I really do like the liquid soap better. It's so much gentler on our washing machine too. On the other hand if I would spend a few more dollars I could get some brand name laundry detergent. Nah.

Personally, I prefer liquid to powder. It is gentler on my clothes. I hear that it is also better for the washing machine. It is also easier to store, no clumping. I hate that.

I prefer liquid detergent - tide liquid detergent
I like the liquids better. Even when I would swish the powders around with my hand first there always seemed to be a clumping problem and I hated it!

I use liquid, I prefer Xtra, not only b/c it is cheap, but it works so well for our laundry. The reason I use liquid is b/c years back my dad told me a story about powder detergents. He said they had an exspensive plumbing problem to repair b/c all the powder detergent had caked up inside the pvc, sort of like a heart artery will get clogged with plaque, and he said he would never again use powder detergents. Plus the fact that I was tired of having to rewash my clothes b/c of the white film and undesolved detergent. Haven't had that problem with the liquid, and for me, it is more economical. Great discussion by the way :)

We use liquid laundry soap. Normally I buy Arm & Hammer, but sometimes I buy Purex. It depends on which is cheaper. I have only use powder a few times, and I did not like it. I had a problem with it clumping and not washing all the way off.
