Every one should think that this whole world is like one family. we should forget all disputes/revenges and should believe in "live and let live."

Each of us most work to chip away at what we can of these societal ills. While working individually is important, we must remember that we can accomplish even more by working together.

Trying to be kind to others is a start. Follow the golden rule. You know do unto others. Having a little more patience wouldn't hurt either.

this world wont become better on its own.its we who have to fight the causes which are destroying our world.we hagve to become a rebel and turn the world into a better place.we have to come together and find out a solution to problems which is destroying us like poverty, child labour, pollution, population explosion, global warming and many more the problems dosent end so we just have to put up our hands together and solve this to make out world a better place

We should start the CHANGE from ourselves before changing the others. That is the principle.

Have more respect for each other and for all forms of life. Compasion can't be limited to an occasional moment of remorse, an occasional respite from the raging war to subdue nature and to subdue each other. Compasion is the path to greatness for all humans and can save the planet along the way. We have to re-think our 'struggle for survival' way of thinking. Sure its hard-wired into our cave-man brain but we have to wake up to the reality that we can now easily produce enough food and shelter for all existing humans, its all the unecessary extras that we so agressively fight for that cause such disastrous consequences. Compasion cannot be confined to sermons and discusions of spirituality. It has to made part of our daily lives. Constraint needs to replace the 'maximization of profit' model which is so deeply embedded into our culture. To many this is unthinkable but we must wake up to reality. We live in a finite world. Compasion must exist in the business world and in each consumer's mind. We must wake up to the reality that our toys and 'labour saving' devices are killing us both slowly and quickly. Not to mention that our aggressive efforts to sell an ever increasing number of those very toys are adding unnecessarily to our stress and unhappiness. Stress is also very unhealthy. A greater emphasis on physical health instead of acquiring wealth will also help a great deal in liberating our minds and attitudes, not to mention the INCREASED enjoyment of our lives that good physical health inevitably brings. Mental, physical, spiritual and environmental health all revolve around compasion and around each other.

The answer starts right here with you. It all depends upon how you treat others. If you treat them like you would like to be treated, they will follow the example and a chain of events will start... So go ahead and start practicing...

We can make this world a better place by starting with ourselves, only if all of us can commit ourselves and change to become better citizens then there is a big possibility that we can...

Don't really have the answer to all the world's problems but I think we all need to start thinking on a more global level, rather than local. We don't think as a whole, as a people. We are so concerned with separating our =selves from each other we let those prejudices get in the way of the real problems at hand. We think what happens on the other side of the world doesn't affect us but it does. We have to stop looking at only what is in front of our noses.

I run into so many people asking how can we make the world a better place. The answer is person by person. It didnt corrupt over night so it wont magically be A happy world with lots of rainbows and $miles everywhere over night. I mean people have to stand up. Start something. Open someones eyes by the things you do. Every holiday I have I've always visited homeless shelters and give give give. Well dont you know my family we celebrate every holiday together at my aunts house. We all get to together and can you believe they all participate now. They help me wrap food and pack boxes full of goodies for the less fortunate. So if your asking how to make the world a better place, someone please stand up for something you believe in rather than just anything. :) cd

I hope so. I try to be true to my self and address issue that I feel degrade the moral fiber of our society. It also starts at hme with children by rasing children that accept responsiblility for there action and know right from wrong. This is the only way the world will change for the better is if we plant the seeds for the future in our own homes and teach our kids to do good and banish greed.
