What was the longest time you've spent in the kitchen cooking something? What was it you made? How long did it take?

I am not into coking really. But I can with few menu. i don't stay too long into kitchen. But I do wanna learn and master the craft. It just that my time doesn't permits me. I have so many tasks to do. And usually, if I have free time, I spend it doing online programs.

I was cooking a pork stew (usually I use beef). It took more than an hour just to cook the pork to make it tender. Then the vegetables, so almost two hours. I guess I bought the wrong part of the meat or kinda old.

I would have to say maybe 4 hours. I made a German dish called "Heaven and Earth" which consists of two pounds of potatos and two pounds of apples stewed together.I was alone and the peeling took the most amount of time.
