yes its not a good idea to allow any one to edit the information.....Or they should ask people to rate the answer given by the members and depending on the rating it can be included in wikipedia....

well agreed to some extent!!!!...i believe that the information should be sent to experts on that knowledge and they should review it and then upload the info in the website!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In Wikipedia there is no cencorship in uploading data and editing and updating those, so it's quite possible to have distorted facts. I think, the users should be more judicious in sharing information since this is viewed and copied by the children and others for important projects. I feel, not all should have the liberty to upload data here. Only a few with proper expertise i special fields should be allowed.

I occasionally use wikipedia when I don't really need serious information but just want a vague idea about something... basically when it's not that important to me that it be exactly correct, but I just want to get a feel for something. However, I wouldn't use it for any kind of serious research, and I'd think other people would know better than to do so as well. I'm not sure there's really a way to fix it. The inherent flaw in a user-edited system is that sometimes people will add misinformation. There's not a lot you can do about it. It can be useful as a starting point to learning about something, but it's never going to be a really reliable resource for serious information.

Well....i am not against Wikipedia!!! infact I also use it to get a lot information....what's more!!! I myself am a memeber of it!!!!...and no doubt a lot of info in it is unbaised!!! However, there is a lot of information which is not correct!!!!....plus I have pointed out the incorrect information in the talk page also!!!!!!but its been quite some time now!!!and its not changed!!!!!!!! I have found errors in only the information that I needed and had a little prior knowledge of!!!!!!!!!......but wikipedia has got!!!!!!!!!millions of different topics and there should definately be a lot of errors in many of them!!!!!!!!!!...Thus I believe wikipedia is not reliable!!!!!!!!!!though a good enough source to get free and basic info!!!!!!!!
