Which better, the nVIDIA platform card or the ATI platform card right now??

As i think Nvidia is the most efficient graphics processor.The drawing rate of nvidia is quite high.I prefer Nvidia than all other graphics cards.Now i use Nvidia 4000 Mx and i am going to upgrade to Nvidia 8500,because it supports all latest games and latest applications such as HD video play back and editing softwares.It is available from 70& to 90$ with a grapics memory of 256/512 MB with DirectX10 supporting.
