Are Fundies and Extremists the Real Satanists?

I was thinking about this yesterday and went through the points. No I am not saying that ALL the Christians and Muslims are Satanist, but only the Fundies and Extremists.
Here is my point. Both groups talk only about sin, evil, hell and Satan. They hardly ever talk about Jesus or Mohammad. They use sin, evil, hell and Satan to cause fear in the ones who are gullible enough to believe everything they hear or read. Why are these two groups so hyped up about Satan for? Many preachers I listened to, I pay attention to their face and eyes. And let me tell you, their eyes have a crazy look in them, as if they are possessed or something. There have been studies (from what I've read, but I need to do more research on it), that the criminals who kill or rape people have a crazy look in their eyes. What do you all think?

I agree with you - and these people are being listened to by stupid people who are seeking something bigger - when they should wake up and realize that it is all inside their minds and will power - we as humans need to think on our own and not these morons who think they know it - cause guess what - they dont and btw they jsut as human as you and me
so no point in listening to them - Now if Jesus came down from a cloud or somthign now that would be different but have you seen a YOUTUBE VID showing the proof or been there for it yet?
where are these Supposed GODS or GOD who are coming or have been here?

lol you're post made me laugh! I liked the "stupid people" and "morons" part. I agree that they need to find something better to do than going around bothering people and getting into people's lives. Like the whole gay marriage issue they always bring up. I mean, if it's behind closed doors with two consenting adults, it isn't hurting the fundies one bit. The fundies have no involvement with this sort of thing until they do it on purpose.

I could say that I agree with you BUT not for the reason you mentioned..Satanism is NOT about "Satan" in fact Satan is a Christian idea..Satanism however IS about the "Me" factor..the philosophy behind it is put "yourself first and above all" which if you really think about it IS what fundies do...so in that sense I could agree with what you are saying....Bottomline though, fundies and extremists are just plain NUTS and thats got nothing to do with ANY religion ;-) Bunch of bloody loons LOL

Thanks for your response ranvenladyj. Yes, I read that Satanism has nothing to do with Satan, but focusing on yourself. I do understand what you mean by the "put yourself and above all" concept, which is something I hadn't thought about until I read this post. I totally agree with that aspect of it.

Sad... But true... People tend to look "as always" on the negative side and in this case always on the fault of others or where did the other party went wrong. Focusing on the negative brings negative result and in this case again, brought war and restlessness to a lot of our brothers and sisters in the middle east. I just hope there will come a time that there will be real peace in this world wherein we could live in harmony even if we are muslim or christian.
