Man I haven't written love letters since the days when I was in high school and dating my then boyfriend now husband. We used to write love letters to each other all the time. We both still have all of the love letters from when we were young. Its always fun to go back and read them and just to see how head over heels in love we were at that time.

Hi there Sea Goddess! I write love letters all the time. I love surprising my husband with love letters from me that he find in the most unlikely places.

Well i have written a good number of letters to my love and it was really a great experience. I was engaged for a full year before we got married and during this period we wrote to each other like any thing. So much so that my husband even sent me portraits of me drawn by him. Even now when i go to my parents during vacations he sends me letters and love cards.

I've received a fair amount of love letters through my life, but have never actually written one - I'm at a loss when it comes to things like that - I just tend to get more embarrassed and self-conscious, more than anything else. Don't get me wrong, I'm a very open and passionate person, I just was never good at getting anything that seemed like a compliment.

I used to do that a lot when I was younger. Me and my first real boyfriend wrote letters to eachother all the time during our first six months. We were a bit too shy to talk comfortably, so that was a great way to get to know eachother. I don't write love letters anymore though. My fiancée and I live together, so it's just not all that fun anymore.

The last time I wrote a love letter I was in my teens. Which, since I'm 48 now, was afew years ago. If I find anyone worth writing a love letter to I might do it again. I've been divorced for 20 years now. And there has not been anyone special in my life since.

When my hunny and I first got together we wrote love letters to each other almost everyday. I kept all the ones he wrote me in a cd case of the first cd he bought me. He was going through his wallet the other day and found the notes I had written him. He has kept them in his wallet all this time...6 years +. I occasionaly take them out and read them. It puts a smile on my face. I love him so much!

When my spouse was working the over night shift and did not have access to a telephone, he would send me emails. It was certainly very romantic. But, we didn't just talk about matters of love. Most of the emails concerned things he was doing on his job or other things our baby might have done during the day. It was a great way to stay in touch, during a time when most people are asleep. Later when he changed to another job, we went back to talking on the phone. And, for some reason, I missed reading all his proclamations of love in writing. Over the years I have kept almost every love note or letter that he has given to me. Yes, I'm sentimental. But, he's worth it. Best of luck with your honey.
