Am I getting old or just weird? I feel like music should mostly or only be listened to in the car, sometimes I dont even listen to it then. My boyfriend always likes to listen to music in his room and I find it so annoying. I dont want to listen to music. Blech. Id rather it be quiet or watch tv. I even prefer radio talk shows over music most days.

Have you tried different types of music? There are times I get tired of one genre and switch to another. Other times I also don't want to listen to anything. Especially when I'm posting responses, it disturbs my concentration.
Then there are times I just want to sit down and do nothing but let the music play, and do nothing but pay attention to it. I go from one extreme to the other. Including the types, from classical to metal.

this is realy good choice to change ur feeling about music . Maybe in the past days u felt like a type of music. NOW u just need to do is to switch another type msuic. In our life sometimes we need to be quiet . it's not the problem that u'r aging.

I am way older then you are and I like music..so let us not blame old age.
IS it the type of music your boyfriend listens too, I myself find much of the new stuff is similar to getting yelled at. I do n't find it pleasant at all.
My son has moved on to country music - he is 21 and closer to your age.
Maybe you should try a different type of music.

I agree with listening to music in the car. Once in a great while I will listen to a cd on the computer. My husband has music on right now. He carries a small radio around in his pocket and then has to blast it so he can hear it. Very often it wakes me in the morning. He will also watch a football game on tv and listen to the radio at the same time. Generally it's another football game.
I love music since I came from a musical family but not to the point I can't be without it.

Hmm, since I don't have a car, I would never listen to music. :(
I listen to music while doing all kinds of things. Mostly when I'm talking online, but I like to listen to jazz while umm... well never mind that.
Anyways, I think for people who are really into music, some of them could listen to it all day every day. I'm not quite that into it, but I could listen to it all day every other day or so. lol

haha you're weird LOL I like listening to music when I'm online or home by myself. I usually have music playing in the background most of the time, only if it doesn't bother my son or husband.

sorry kiobug but you are getting old or weird or both! i listen to everything from 70's punk all the way up to modern day stuff full blast in my room as i get dressed to go down the road with the boys as i unsuccessfully try to chat up a girl with no luck as she is too busy looking at the spot on the end of my nose to listen to me.

I'm not really sure about it myself, but I prefer to listen to music by myself nowadays. As back then, I used to really turn on the volume high, like I'm the only one living on that place!LoL
I even listened to slow music, which I never listened back then. Maybe I was aging, or could be that most of the songs now are none that suits my taste!;)
