Even without saying 'Adidas', the stripes are pretty recognizable. I don't really have a favorite logo, but I go like the Kangol (I think is how you spell it) logo. Kangaroos are my favorite animals and it uses a kangaroo.

I would probably have to say the mcdonalds logo. Its a very simple design that symbols a big company.

The correct answer is Coca-Cola but General Electric has operated for years under the delusion that they own that title. I'm pretty sure other companies have claimed it, too. Chrysler and Ford come quickly to mind but I'm not sure if either of them have laid claim to THE most popular logo (although neighter of them have changed since their inception, to the best of my knowledge). My favorite was a long-time logo for a local steakhouse in the Pocono mountains that I saw every time I drove to or from college. It was a horse head. Think about it: a horse head as the logo for a steakhouse. Really think about it. In 1992 they changed it to a cow. The cow looked like Vivian Vance from I love Lucy, AKA, "Ethel." I think that made me even more uncomfortable. Around that time another steakhouse opened in the vicinity called "Hickory Licks" and the road sign was supposed to look like a guy eating a rack of ribs but instead it looked like he was mauling some poor animal alive and had its blood dripping down his face while he was sporting an absolutely MANIACAL grin... I'm sorry, what was the question again?

This is probably going to sound weird, but what in the world is the Nike Tick? Now, I know Nike, but the tick??? What tick? Why would they use a tick, of all things? And why haven't I heard of it? And to answer your question, I hate to say it, but McDonalds would have to be the most recognizable logo in the world, I think. I don't eat there, but who cares? Fifty gazillion other people do, so who needs me to? Those damn arches!

For me it is Kentucky Fried Chicken. No need for me to explain because it is in all-people-mind. Just place your order for main menu and site-order, xboxboy. Ready your money to pay the bill including sales and service tax, and they will ready for you change, if you got big note.

I think it is definitely that orange 76 ball. That thing has been around since time out of mind and it is still one of the best today. Although the name has changed quite frequently in recent years. Everyone knows the Unocal ball. McDonalds is another good one also.

I would have to go along with the 2 who said McDonalds. I think they are hands down the most recognize able. After that I guess I would say American Express. I think that is known to all parts of the world. Good discussion topic friend

I would agree that the McDonald's arches might be the most recognizable brand logo in the world. The NIKE check is up there pretty high, which is funny because when Bowerman created NIKE he wasn't even a fan of the logo. In addition in the southern part of the US where I'm from the Target Bullseye is quickly becoming another largely recognized brand logo. Very interesting topic!

Nike Logo - Nike logo with a tick
Hello there. Personally I feel that the most powerful and recognizable brand logo in the world is M (McDonald's). You can find McDonald's in most parts of the world. Even in my tiny nation Singapore, you can find more than a hundred outlets. All the kids here know what is McDonald's. Personally my favorite brand logo is Nike (a tick). It's simple and nice.=D
