Do you take home movies and if you do, how often do you watch them? Today I was watching a video that I took about ten years ago. I love to see how everyone has changed and watching my home movies also brings back memories. So how often do you watch your home movies?

My son and his wife do. My daughter does, too. I don't have a video camera, so I don't. I like watching them, sometimes. I especially love the one, when my grandson, Zack was a baby. I was his favorite person in the whole world. They were filming his birthday party, and he was a year old. As soon as I walked in the room, he totally changed. He was hollering and reaching for me, and saying mommaw, and just carying on. It was so funny, and made me feel so special, even though his other mommaw, and everyone was there. lol

Oh, I'm so glad you got your daughters first steps on video. I didn't get my son on video until he was 3 years old, but I'm happy I have that.

Yes, I have loads of home movies, but for the last five years there are fewer and fewer because we have had some tough times with bereavement in the family and some illness.. Gradually I have been putting them on the PC and burning them to DVD and it is great to look back and notice the differences in everybody.. Sometimes though, it can feel like different people. Well it is in a way because the people we were back then has changed so much :-)

I went through a spell years ago where I took movies all the time. Our kid's sports, family vacations and anything involving school activities. Every now and then, since the kids are grown now, they want to see them and laugh like crazy at their various weights and how they have all lost. It's really fun to pop in a tape and watch little fat kids running around on vacation. I don't view them very often when alone as it's not as much fun. My husband has no interest in seeing anything other than football or softball. And the memories of lost grandparents and other relatives who are gone does bring back memories.

I did the same thing. When my son was small I took so many movies of him, just about every day. Now I don't take them too often. I really should start taking more than I do. I also don't like watching them with alone. I like to share them with the family.

Yes, i always rent from video rentals and i watch movies every weekend until the next day.I also rent movies like from 1960's or something, those with Audrey Hepburn and Casa Blanca. Movies from that era are magical.
