Do you know people who really exagerrate on everything they say..
They caught a fish really really big..so big..it's 2 inches..LOL
Or boy did he yell at me.. he ranted and raved.. he shouted so loud...but in all reality ..all he did was talk in a normal..tone.
What makes people exagerrate so much..those that have this habit??

My husband tends to exaggerate when he talks about issues at work and often makes it out to be more than what it really is. I don't know why he does that but I'm wondering maybe to impress me or make it seem like he's one big hotshot LOL I really don't know!

I have to laugh..because..originally I wanted to start a topic.."Wouldnt you agree..men are big babies" but then I thought..no it would start a war..
I believe you..I know many men like that.. everything is much bigger, much harder etc etc..then it really is.

Oh mercy, yes, lol. The ones I can think of off the top of my head are both men. In our group, we've all learned to just laugh, shake our heads, and just take anything they say with a grain of salt. It's really a shame, they just don't realize they've earned their own reputations as habitual liars. I put it to low self esteem that they do this, well, at least in the beginning anyways, now I think it's just become an ingrained habit. I think they do this so they'll look better to somebody than what they really are.

lol..wow you are soo full of great questions..u must have soo much n ur mind hun lol..but they are awesome threads!! well i do know many people that exagerate..and i know why they do because i have odne so in my time..lol..its because they like the faces people make listeing to what happend..and making it funnier just adds to the story i guess..or adding drama..some people just dont like to be normal and justtell the way it is..they also like to know the story is greatly appreciated and remembered..:)
