When I saw this cat picture on net I remmebred my cat. When I was 11-12 years old and I was at my granpa's place in summer vacation, I used to play with their cat's newly born kitten. I thought to take her with me to my home while coming back. But one day she was missing. I searched for her whole day, but didn't find her. Then, in the evening her torn body was found upstairs. I was so sad that next morning I had fever. I still feel really bad/sad when I think about it. I was thinking I was with her for few days only, but the people who have their pets with them for years and the pets die how bad they feel. What do you think about this?

that is so sad.. i had a cat when i was a little girl her name was misty, she was all white with blue eyes. i loved her very much. when ever i would cry (which almost everyday bad childhood at that time) she would sit on my chest or lay beside me and lick my tears off my face. when we moved my step father did not like cats especially her and he left her behind i cried for days.. but my grandmother found her and took care of her for a while until she came up missing, noone ever found her. and i still miss her to this day. to me i lost my best friend that day.now i have a cat who is all black and her name is midnight, she is my new baby well she is about a year and a half old i think.. i found her in the middle of the night on the side of the road i think someone dropped her off ther because there were no houses around..

thanks, i just cant stand it when people dump their aminals, it is so sad if they didnt want babies them maybe these people should think about getting them fixed or not have them at all.. oh well, i guess you really cant do anything about that.so people say that cats are a great stress relief. i do believe that one, but midnight i just dont know what to do with her as far getting on my counters and table..lol.. it is a constant battle with her but i still love her anyway even with that little flaw..haha oh and thanks for the best response

Itis very true people develop sentiments towards the pets and here it is a different story. We had 8 (4 cats and 4 kittens). My wife didnot like them doing nuisance all round the house, therefore she put two of them in a basket (mother and child) and gave it to a boy, with to and fro charges to hand over the same to animal welfare. On the way to animal welfare, the mother cat escaped, leaving behind the kitten. The kitten was handed over, but after hearing the story, Ifelt very sad and the thoughts come to me even now of the wrong decision taken by my wife. The remaining cats and kitten were placed in safe homes.

Thanks for responding! I don't think your wife took any wrong decision by sending them to animal welfare if she had problem with them although if she or you would have personally took the cats and kittens to animal welfare, the lost cat would have also been placed in safe homes... But it was nice to know that remaining cats and kittens were placed in safe homes.
