Dear friends I wish all you a very happy Diwali. It is an Indian festival, so my friends from India would easily understand its importance. I wish you all a very prosperous and happy Diwali well in advance. May you enjoy the Festivals to its fullest.

Happy Diwali to you too...it is celebrating on this coming Friday November 9....I like this festival, it is very spiritual and uplifting.... My Hindu friend told me about this festival many years ago...and I always visit Hindu places in Chicago to see more... I love a lot of light; I wish to be in India to see it... Must be beautiful....

I know more about India than an average person, because I like many Hindu leaders and spiritual teachers.... As far as being on Mylot, I am very busy with my business, my house and my life....I don't have as much time for myself as I used to... HUGS...;)

I am pleasantly surprised to go through your response and happy too after seeing you after a long time. Hope all was well with you. It is really great to know that you enjoy an Indian festival and participate in it. It is really one of the msot important festivals of our ours. Earthen lamps are lighted with oil on this day. 'Deepak' (i.e. my name) means an 'earntern lamp'. Have a great day and weekend! Deepak

happy diwali to you, dpk262006 :) its kind of light festival, isn't it? i believe on night, it will be look more beautiful along the street than another night (when Diwali not held on). how long it take? a week or?
