We use flourencent bulbs everywhere in the house...they aren't as bright but can cut energy use by almost 1/2.
We recycle our bath tub water for use in toilets...mainly because of the drought that we have been experiencing, but it just makes sense now.
The electric stays at 67 in the winter and 76 in the summer, I make sure that all of the windows and doors are properly sealed so that heat or cool can not escape. And, in the summer we close all of the blinds/curtains to retain the cool.

Recycling bath tub water is a very very good idea. I wish more people could do such a simple but helpful thing. Thanx for that!!
