We just got a phone call from this number. I didn't get to the phone in time to answer though so I have no idea where it was from. I thought it was weird though. Any one else ever get a call from a strange number like that or know where 111-111-1111 would be from?

I just got another 999-999-9999 number last night. I answered it and they asked for my girl. So I started to speak jibberish real softly, and after they politely asked me to speak up 2 times (It was pretty funny, she thought it was her phone having problems, and then started talking real slow and polite thinking I must be elderly) and when I spoke up I repeated the same jibberish I was saying before, and she almost started to laugh, but then after re-asking the same question and getting the same answer of jibberish, she wasn't humored anymore. She hung up on me all huffy....frickin funny.

LOL...I'll have to remembr that! Although...[picture me with my hands on my hips smiling sarcastically at you] I will admit I was a dreaded telemarketer at one point in time and it was jokers like you that made a long night even longer...ok who am I kidding we liked it when people did silly stuff that made us laugh, most people just yelled at us and slammed their phones down...not a pleasant sound when you're wearing headphones.

Telemarketer. There is a program they use along with a lot of government agency's, credit card companies, and debit collectors which allows them to chose what ever number they want. With this device, someone can actually make it look like their calling from your house, to your house and getting an exact trace on it, is near impossible. Bogus huh. We have gotten 111 combo, 777, and 999 so far. We just don't answer.

Wow, that's really interesting. I'm betting it's the credit card company. S/o's parents are up to their ears in debt and then some. The one company has called up to 10 times a day. It gets so annoying.

No I would know Foxy. I only get calls from 111-111-111...2 What!? =P Seriously: Out2win nailed it. Its telemarketers. Other times you do get all of the same digit. I've seen 000-000-0000 before. Just call block them. Or you can screw with their minds but only do it on occasion and just for a few seconds. Kidding again. ... ... ... ... ... ...maybe... XP
