We don't have Christmas at home as this is not our traditional festival and many old generations don't know about this, but young people. We celebrate Christmas on campus, which is liked by students very much. We usually celebrate it by getting some snacks while eating, singing, dancing, watching movies or TV or playing games etc. Also the classroooms are always decorated by the students with Merry Christmas on not only the blackboard but also on the windows with some special stuff I can not name. hehe It is much fun that day on campus. Thanks for your discussion, dear asolero.

We do not celebrate christmas, because we belong to Hindu religion. However, since there is animated participation by other religion, we too have christians friends and they invite us and we participate in the festival.

I am planning on having my own place with my husband by then but if not, then we are spending Christmas at moms house alone because the rest of the family is going to New Jersey to visit family.

Christmas is a big to do here. I live in the US. When my daughter was about ten we decided to hang christmas stockings all over the house as decorations. We did this in place of garland and messy stuff. Then we decided to fill them with my daughters christmas gifts. Then we started ten days before Christmas giving her one stocking a night as long as she was good. She loved this new tradition. My daughter is now seventeen and we have something like twenty five stockings now to be hung. However, they are now devided up between my daughter, husband and myself. Christmas is great. I will fix a large turkey dinner, with stuffing, cranberry sauce, ham, sourcrot, and candy carrots. I usally make pumpkin pie for everyone for desert. Then there will be drinks and games after dinner. The whole day is full of fun for all. My house will have tons of visitors through out the day. I love the holidays.

I'll not be home for Christmas for I'm not yet allowed to go home to my home country so I'll just got church and spend Christmas with my colleagues in our quarters.
