What has been your longest relationship?

My first boyfriend and I were together for 8 years and parted ways due to a third party (a woman). My second boyfriend who eventually became my husband were together for two years before deciding to get married. Lenght of the relationship does not guarantee marriage. I would like to congratulate you and your future hubby for sticking together that long and for deciding to finally tie the knot. Hi, With my husband, our relationship took 4 years. We did sent email for 4 year until we married. Because i live in Indonesia and he live in here (Netherlands). And then, 3 years ago i move here and we married 3 years ago. Wow...Congratulation for you, and i see that you will be have your son in around Feb. Very excited ^_^

In India there is no experimental living, living together and so on and so forth. Most people marry either arranged, love marriage or arranged love marriage. Parents are respected and regarded as friend, philosopher and guide and marriage takes place in their presence and in the presence of large number of elders of the family and relatives. So a relationship start after marriage and it lasts longer.

My longest would have to be with the guy i'm with now. This December will be 5 years.
