Last nigth my hubby wake up me, becuase he was cold. It is colder and colder here and we are still using just those regular blankets, like all americans has. But guys how you can sleep under them all winter? It is so cold if you have even heat on. We bring last year from Germany this really thick blankets, i am gonna use for winter. It would be really warm under them, I just need order a special "clothing" (i am not sure how you call it in english) for the blanket. So what you sleep with? What do you do if you are cold? Would you turn heat on more or just bring one more blanket?

Lately, I have had three blankets on my bed all year around. I do not know why I had them over the summer. I would always throw them to the side and turn on the fan. Now, I need them all.

Its been cold in my appartment since winter hit us here in AK so i use 3 blankets and I stay pretty warm, I miss having a man to sleep with to keep me warm. anyways i sleep with a sleeping bag, fleece no sew blanket and a small quilt made for a twin size bed that a friend of mine made me years ago. I'm a single mom just trying to warm in the winter time.

I'm using a quilt and a blanket both together:) cause I like to sleep at night without being disturbed by cold.

I have several blankets I sleep with, depending on how cold it gets. I like an electric one for really cold temps - so do the cats for that matter.... I actually like sleeping under blankets, but in Texas I've only had sheets on since May. I have light blankets for cool temps, heavier ones for colder temps, and I've been know to put 2 or 3 for those times I haven't had an electric one.

Well, I am not even using Blanket, we just need to use one Bedquilt since it is really not that cold here in my place. And at this moment, the temperature could sometimes still go to above 25 Degree Centigrade. Andy

Hi Laurika, Well, I use a quilt and a sheet, and if its really really cold at night, I will add a blanket, I dont know what to call them, they are like hospital blankets. LOL Sort of woven, but with cotton. I love them, they are really warm. Its getting really cold here now too, getting close to freezing some nights. I was forced to turn on the heat last night, and its been on most of the day. Figures it ran more throughout today than it has all night long. Bay Lay Gray xx

I have seen your large photo just now, a nice blanket. Even though I don't know much about weather in America, but talking about cold temperature which is under zero, my experience in New Zealand, I think can make a comparison. With two layers of jeans and winter jacket, that blanket is enough to have good sleep.

A down comforter. I have a tommy hilfiger down comforter. One side is turquiose and the other side has polka dots on it. I really love it. This is my second down comforter. The first one was ralph lauren and all white. And easily stained. LOL. I also have down pillows.
