How do you know when enough is enough

I have been a very patient wife. My husband has repeatedly told me that he is going to quit drinking. Now we are not even living together. We have lot our home and everything we have because of his alcohol abuse. Yet when I tell him that I can not be with him anymore he just tells me that a good wife does not give up on her husband. What do you think?

For family and ur child,I think you can treat it carefully!
Try ur best to change ur wife.but if not, treat it quickly.

Well, you could tell him that a good wife deserve a good husband. he should not expect anything better than he is. If he would not think for the benefit of the family then you should at least think for yourself. You wont be at any good staying with a man living and believing that you should stay no matter how worse he is.

Hi,
Yes what your husband told you was right, you are not supposed to leave him, but, tell him you want to live with him and to live with him, he has to mend his ways also.
It is only for mutual benefit and not for one's personal benefit.
By this small changes and mending ways of both it is beneficial for both throughout their lives.
Drive the point of mutual benefit for life and then he will definitely agree with your proposal.
Hoping for a happy life for you at the earliest.

Your husband is doing all that because he know that you love him so much. What you have to do you just pray for him so that God can solve the problem.
