What do you do when you are sleepy?

Sleepy or drowsiness (lethargic) is due to our brain has lack or insufficient supply of oxygen. Where our body parts have fully utilized the running oxygen and the supply no longer meets the demand. Less supply in greater demand of oxygen for our body system to be active functioning in proper manner. Just like a car, having less air mixture in carburettor system. It cannot make a proper deliver to combustion chamber. So the engine will choke and make a car in juddering movement while some 'firing' through out the exhaust system. So I have to take proper sleep. But if I found that on that day I still feeling drowsy after I have had enough sleep for 5 hours, means my physical body lack of exercise or due to medical (health) reason. Normally for diabetes. I must perform my blood and cholesterol test, immediately.

They say coffee helps (but not for me, I really don't know why). One thing would be not to eat too much sweets and carbs, they tend to make you real sleepy. One friend of mine recommended eating apples. The best solution? Have a good night's sleep (at least 7 hours). If you don't sleep well, those hours you lack would accumulate and would affect you in the future. A good night's rest is the key to better health - and of course, to being active during the day. Sleep gives oxygen to the brain and the more oxygen, the better your brain would function.
