You are welcome. It was my pleasure. If only the rest of the country cared enough to just say thanks! It's not that we expect it, but it's still nice to hear once in awhile. Especially for folks like me, who is currently trying to get her records fixed at the VA. I am a service-connected 100% disabled veteran. I did not serve in a combat period, but was injured during a bomb threat, when a fellow airman got spooked by the EOD dogs coming up the stairway to check the building. She was afraid of dogs, she shoved me out of the way, and I took a tumble down a flight of stairs. I was left with a bum leg and back problem from it. I was then discharged, and had to fight to get benefits from the VA (It took 10 years). Then just 5 days before this Christmas, I got a letter from the VA saying that my benefits were being reduced to 50%, because they claim they never recieved a form this fall that I sent twice!! As of March 1st, my benefits will be reduced. Now, I have less than 60 days now to get the problem resolved before they reduce my monthly disability check. When that happens, I will most likely join the ranks of the homeless veterans because I will not be able to make my house payment. I have taken action to try to resolve the situation, but the VA works at their own pace. So if I might ask a small favor, please pray that they (the VA) take action in a timely manner and get this fixed before I lose my home. Thanks!
