Teaching Myself and Sharing with you

Recently, I ended up in the hospital for a couple days. Why?? I forgot to take care of ME. Here are some things I learned that I wish to share with you. 1. Be good to yourself. 2. Take time for yourself. 3. Do not try to do too much. 4. Say NO when others try to overload you. 5. Pay attention to warning signs of medical conditions. 6. Talk, blog, have a support system. 7. Spend time with friends. 8. Yell, Scream or Cry if needed. 9. Do not hold things in. 10. Pray.

a lot of us need this reminder. I am sorry you ended up in the hospital. I have been telling you for awhile now to take care of yourself !! Maybe now you'll listen !! You know my thoughts and prayers are always with you. I know you are going through an awful lot, but you need to take time and remember you are only one person, and the world will not stop turning if you don't do it all !! ((((HUGS))))

I will be paying closer attention now. I have lots of people surrounding me and watching over me to make sure I don't screw up again. Thank you for the love and the prayers.

Oh, what an excellent discussion to be starting into this holiday season with! There are some of us who fail to do any or most of this. I am fighting a little infection right now, but it took five days to find time to try to see the doctor, after I had made up my mind I needed to. I probably should have done it weeks ago. I am feeling so much better now. I hope you are as well.

I am glad to hear you are feeling better. Please take care of yourself. Because of recent events, I am spending a lot of time at the doctor's office to get everything back to normal. (whatever normal is supposed to be) LOL

I am also trying to catch up on everything. I start to get almost done and something new comes up to distract me. There is too much at times and it can become overwhelming.

I like the point number 3 and 4 u mentioned !! yeah this the problem for the whole world .. people use to set huge goal for them selves forgetting there limitations!! it is necessary to create goal which can be achievable by you!! and yeah its obvious to learn to say no to others !! otherwise the world will destroy u!! and the point number 10!! always important to live in this world !!

I was also sick for 5 days last end of October to 1st week November. I can't get up; when I move my head, i feel dizzy as if everything is turning around with me and i vomit. I had also fever. The past months I was overworked and stressed. I guess I didn't take care of myself well. It's nice that you write this discussion here to remind us that we should value our health. Oftentimes we take care of our family, our kids, our parents, and forgetting our own well-being.

Valuing our health is very important. All too often we get side tracked and lose our focus. Then, Bam! We get a quick reminder from our bodies.

These are things that are important for all of us to do. I know that I had to learn to do these things a long time ago, but I still forget them too often, and find myself in sad shape because of it.
