Just been watching a show where they have a camera at the airport...Flights are being cancelled due to bad weather and snow and people are frustrated and abusive..I can understand their frustration, but is there any reason for them to be so nasty and abusive towards the poor people behind the counters that are just trying to do their jobs....The flights are cancelled for safety, their attitude is that they paid for the flight so they must fly, What !! do they all want to die ???..What if the plane skids off the runway and smashes, then they would be the first to winge... LOL...Just venting cause these peoples attitudes were ridiculous when it was just for their own safety....

people always cannot control their emotion rationally.even they know what the truth is and how and what to do, which leaves us nothing to do. perhaps that 's just the human being . happy posting!

People with that sort of attitude really get up my nose. Maybe it was from when I was younger and use to work in retail and had to deal with all sorts! But yeah, it's like why attack the innocent people just doing a job, and also having no control over certain situations. I too was going to say load them in they're own plane and send them off, see how they like it if they crash because of the weather. But, who would fly the plane?! When I get stressed, I don't abuse other people, especially the one's who can't change things!

They can fly the plane themselves, no point wasting a pilot on their petty attitudes..

Yeah, too true. Maybe they could start their own company like 'Windbags National', or a few other names which would probably get deleted from here!!

That is the same reason why we shout at the telemarketerrs or the receptionist!! They just do their jobs! Calais, that's how we react, we get hyper at the immediate person gets the blast. We all know it shouldn't be that way but we hardly can control ourselves in such situations. We are nasty and abusive at some point in life which is gross. Thanks.

People can be ridiculously obnoxious and rude in their treatment of people behind a counter. You hear about the counter staff being rude...let me tell you, it's usually the other way round. I think the airport staff are trained as to handle those situations but most counter staff are NOT trained in this area. Also, a lot pf people think it's ok to abuse staff in a service area and to blame the person behind the counter for any problem they percieve with the company...just ridiculous...lol..

It just amazes me how people only care about themselves...I certainly wouldn't want to jeopardize my safety. I mean, what could be so much more important than arriving at my destination safe and alive...They need to get a grip!

Though I hate waiting for anything I would not act like that. It is for safety and that is more important then getting there quick. There are many times I make important plans and can't go due to weather. Though very annoying it is a part of life. No reason to take it out on anyone else.

Its true that ... people of wings job should not be abused by the passengers but a opposite point is also there ... In the world of corruption and fraud people [to be mentioned : not everyone] we r spending life ... and we r getting frustrated because we cant take steps against them because of some disputes in law!!! So sometimes all the frustrations and agony gets errupted at one pointed!! may be u r the viewer of that !! Though .. it is not justified to abuse the wing personals!!

People just don't realise that the airport staff have a job to do. It's the same with bus drivers, etc. When things go wrong, due to no fault of the personal, idiots get agro & have to blame someone. I believe these kind of people lack self control.

As these attitudes are normal with everybody towards counterpeople, i use to watch lots of businessmn travelling by trains to long routes. Due to season changes they are also changing their mode of travel is really thinkable and fine way to promote business . Humantendency is as to raise the objection towards their travel or money spent for a purpose is nature only.

Seen this in many places that people are always very abusive towards the people behind the counters..They dont realize why the measures have been taken..People are ready to crticise the other for even a slightest delay and we can find many supporting them too.If the flight is allowed to fly and then some problem happens even at that case they blame the authorities. All they know is anything committed by someone should be done without any problem and never are they bothered to judge whether the delay happened due to human error or natural causes, whether it has done good or bad to them...:)

People often resent the very measures that are taken to insure their safety, Calais. I agree that it is wrong for them to take their anger and frustration out on the employees who are just doing their jobs. Oh, yes, and should the worst happen, they would be the ones to scream the loudest.

I have seen these too and I think those belly achers need their heads examined. First the people behind the counter do not control whether a flight gets cancelled. Second you are right...do they want to die??? It's just like the hot heads in traffic. Just relax and enjoy the extra time you have to fiddle around! Read a book...enjoy the newspaper or go have a coffee and people watch! Make the most of the extra time!
