What's your feeling as a parent, when a son thrashes his parent?

Do you respect your parents? Upto what extent? Even if the things cross the limit of tollerence? Could you forgive your old helpless parents even if the differences are beyond your imagination? I personally could not react harsh with my parents. Was I wrong in this?

For unwanted reason no child will thrash their parents. Thee must be a reason for their parent to realise and to be correct or to correct them the mistakes they've done. Between parent and child orviceversa no matter of tolerance levels they both have to talk and work hard towards their family's wealth , somebody might be lesser tolerance levels as per their dayto day jobs. No matter of toolerance or b.p. levels within family.

no matter what happens, a parent is still the one who brought you to this world. but sometimes you cant blame other people who are not in good terms with their parents. i respect my parents and would always do. because the have done everything they can for us. but what about those parents who left their child? those who have separated? can you blame the kids when they grow up and hate them? it still depends on the relationship and the experiences you've had with your parents. have a good day!

I do respect my parents a lot.i think they are the lights of my life who have guided me through out my life.our parents have grown up they have been through out with us in our lives and i wonder how can one do so.i do argue with my parents in situations where they are wrong.but never can i even think of thrashing my parents.how can a son or daughter ever do that to one's parents.atleast my nation's culture never even think about such a thing since it treats paretns as gods.even i treat them the same way as my culture and tradition demands.

I like to think I respected my parents most of the time. There were times my mothere and me would be yelling, though. I NEVER yelled at Daddy. Not because I was scared of him. It just felt wrong. I think a son that thrashes his parents needs taken out and thrashed himself! There is NO excuse for that kind of behavior! My boys were raised to not hit a girl, and they would NEVER have hit their father. If one of us parents would have gotten hit, the other boys would have taken care of business. I don't think you're wrong. It's not right to hit your parents.

I respect my parents so much. I have high regards for them. I look up tp them. But i think, there's something that your parents did to you coz you're asking if it's alright to forgive old parents. Whatever your parents did to you, parents will always be parents. Just remember, you are not in this world if not because of them. Tell them straightly whatever it is that you do not like, it is not a disrespect. But never react on them harshly.
