I logged in to mylot using my cell phone...

Last night after putting my baby to sleep and watching a little television... i can't sleep... i decided to check out the features of my new cell phone... it is Sony Ericsson K610i...
I tried using the internet feature... then out of curiousity tried to open the mylot site... and there is was... the mylot log in page...
I typed in my name then password... after a few seconds... i saw my avatar in the small screen... i took quite a while because of all the sorties but at least i found out that it is possible for me to participate in mylot even if i am not infront of the computer...
Have you ever tried this sort of thing before?...

I like sony ericsson i use w700i and the internet facilities there is awsome, i mean its not like other mobiles it has got many features of web facilities comparing with other mobiles. I have not even tried opening mylot as i know it will take a lot of time to open the page and also that it will be hard to reply to discussions, i mean we can but not comfortable like the computer keyboards. Anyway nice to hear that we atleast access in time of emergency. Good luck

awesome! guess your cellphone is really hightech. ^__^ my mother has a nokia N70 and it can also access the internet but i haven't tried using it to log in to myLot. i have only tried using it to chat in ym. LOL i guess i'll find out if it can access myLot once i get a hold of it. ^__^;;
i can also access myLot without facing the computer though. but i would need wifi because i use my pda. it has other options to connect to the internet aside from wifi but i don't know how to use those options. LOL i'm not really using all the features of my pda. ^__^;;

I had no idea that you could actually use mylot from the cellphone. I do sometimes access the internet to check emails and stuff from it, but i think iwill keep my mylotting to the computer =)

wow...you have nice cell phone :) It is not too expensive doing surf internet by your mobile. I only do Mylot or other site only with my computer ^_^;; Also because using cell phone for internet, the screen is too small. Not nice to see....Happy posting!!

Yes mobile internet access is becoming very , odd common these days . But i think we cannot use it with so much ease as we do in computers..

oh yes... i had tried to check my email using my hubby's cellphone in the past... but i don't like it... it is so hard... i prefer to use computer... and the cost is lower as well...

How fun! I think I can get internet access on my phone, but we shut it off because our phones were dialing up to the internet on their own (while in our pockets) so it got a bit annoying.

That is exciting. The phone I'm using now doesn't have unlimited minutes, so I don't do that sort of thing much as I'm to frugal to pay the phone service so much, but I did try it out and it is fun! Congrats! Technology is getting SO cool.

If it is in the evening after 7PM then it's free.
The internet is a flat one time fee for me. I never thought about that. Now instead of playing on my PSP, I'm going to type on MyLot when bored in public. thanks for the post there. Good tip.

Congratulation aseretdd! For getting a new cell phone. And login mylot using your cell phone. You were checking out the feature of your cell phone and that was the reason which caused you to not sleep. How did you feel login through your cell phone? It is very expensive here in our country. Mobile companies charge much more than landline or wireless phone sets. Any how I wish you congratulation and good luck.

I just set up an internet connection on my cell phone and I enjoy going online from it but the bills grow with more and more time I spend so I try not to go online much. I usually log on MSN messenger to chat to some friends. I should be able to login on myLot from there even if it is not as fast as a standard computer net.

I haven't tried to because I know to go on the internet with my cell phone costs a lot of money. With my plan anyways. I hope you have a plan that is cheap. My daughter used her cell phone to look up her emails and only read and replied to one of them and she was charged over $10.00. She was only on the internet for about 4 minutes.
My nephew does his mylotting on his TV. I didn't know you could do this,too. I am a little behind on times. I thought that was kind of neat. Talk about a full screen. His TV is a 32 inch and it looked so cool.

He has some kind of device he has to hook up from his computer to his TV. He had to buy it and I think he might of paid quite a bit of money for it. I'm not totally sure of what it's called. He likes it for playing poker and other games.
