Your thoughts on images at myLot?

On other websites, I've always thought images were fine, when they were necessary to the discussion. For example people who knew each other might want to share family and pet pictures, or post a picture of something they'd bought and recommended. Maybe they would post a picture as a way to explain something, or because it was funny.
What I don't like is having to scroll through hundreds of pictures that don't have anything to do with the content of the discussion. I find they distract me from reading.
Do you agree or disagree?Now just to be a hypocrite, I'm going to upload my first image and attach it to this post. Feel free to add yours, and we'll see if it gets annoying or not.:)

Yes, am strongly agreed with your views on the images been posts should be relavents to the discussions or at least by any other good reasons such as for better explainations or for good sharing and think that will make mylot more intersting places to hang around:)

None frankly. I invited people to post random pictures here, because I thought it would be ironic to post them in a discussion about the appropriateness of random pictures. Normally I don't like them, unless they're related to the discussion, but these ones were requested.

I think this is why there is going to be the New standard. That we should not post a picture with our Discussion unless it pertains to that Topic. Actually, I feel this one would be excellent, especially if we get rewarded more when we do.

I think this is a brilliant fature added by mylot for their users as this has added to the number of ways you can earn money here.But i dont quite use this feature now because my internet connection is very slow and it becomes really annoying to reply one post and wait for it about 3-4minutes but soon i'll be doing that as i'll be accessing internet at a very high speed from my office.

For getting good money from images, ill tell u to upload pic that made by u or pic taken by u.
Like mine. it maks good money from images, because it wont be found anywhere in internet. so all will see mine. ill get more money.

I think it is an interesting option, but I see huge potential for abuse and copyright infringement. Some people seem to think that if they find it on the internet, it's free for the taking, and this is, of course, is not true. I really wonder how myLot is going to keep tabs on this sort of thing, as they are really opening themselves up to potential legal problems. Yeah okay, that was my own little tangent...
That issue aside, I like looking at other peoples pictures, especially if they're any good with a camera.

I do like the extra money for them but I agree with you they should have something to do with the conversation.

I didnt earn any cents from the images yet since i just uploaded some pictures and cute images today. Hopefully ill earn from it upon update tomorow=) Mylot has been so great that they brought up this new 'my images' for us to earn more, thanks mylot!=)

I haven't had much of a problem with the images, sometimes I enjoy seeing some of them, some are great for a laugh. I haven't uploaded any yet, so here goes my first one.

Sometimes I just look at all the pretty pictures, but that's normally when the words are getting boring,or I'm getting too tired to read.

Well i do agree, I always try to find a pic that has something to do with the dicussion. If i cant find a good one i dont use one.
