89' Nissan Pulsar!!! I was talking with a friend the other night and for the life of me couldnt think of this car that I used to drive about 10 yrs ago. I loved this car!!! But I couldnt think of what kind it was. Lets see this must have been week ago, I think last Wednesday, and as I sit here myLotting today, it hits me out of the blue! I saw Pulsar on the title of a post. I had forgotten about it actually. So Nissan Pulsar comes to me, and Im like why does that mean something? lol Ooh yes, my loss of memory last week when knowing would have been helpful. So whats the longest time lapse after you gave up trying to remember something specific? lol Do you remember??? Bay Lay Gray xx

Well, as you see from my responses here I just recently forgot something for an hour... I was responding to this comment and wanted to see what zig wrote so I read them all. Then somehow I guess I forgot I was doing that and went to a bunch of other discussions. Then I saw this one again and thought "OH YEAH!! I was looking for something in that one!!" So now I'm back. And mabye now I can forget about this and make a little room up there for something else to forget about???

Oh, that's so funny Bay!!! I was reading the comments here looking for the one you referenced in my post, then I forgot I was going to read them all and got off on some other posts... Then I went back to the Friends Discussions page and saw this and said "Oh yeah, I was going to look for that other post!" Hopefully I'll get there this time....

Oh I love when my hubby ask me what I was eating thorugh the day and I always have to think about 3 minutes and then would remeber. But I don't remeber I would be thinking about something for one week. I mean one week is pretty long so I would already forget what I was thinking about. But the most time I have problem with memory when I am talking to my mum and can't remember the wod in slovak only in english. So I will try to explain the word, but it takes so much time. You know I am explaining her for 3 minutes what i am thinking and then she said the word in 2 second.Ohhhh

I don't think I am losing it, I just listne english and talk with it 24/7 and think in neglish too, so when I am talking to her and want to say AC, many people in Slovakia udnerstand , but my mum she still doesn't know what is mean. So I have to really think how I say it in slovak.

Hi Laurika, I will forget what I ate that day or if I have eaten at all if I got up early enough. lol When you deal with so many hours at one time its hard to remember! You shouldnt lose your native tongue, when you talk to your mom you should talk to her in Slovak so you will keep it up! Bay xx

Once I bought some of those shelves you hang on the wall with hardware at a yardsale. I wasn't ready to hang them yet, and they kept getting in the way everywhere I tried to lean them. I finally put them behind my closet door. Then when I wanted to hang them I couldn't remember where I had put them. And I had recently seen them when I was doing something else, I just couldn't remember what I was doing when I saw them! I thought and thought and strained my brain until I thought I might have a seizure. Nothing. Then one day, about a MONTH later, I was being a 'good girl' and cleaning up the floor where my parrot would sling the seeds he didn't like, and there were the shelves! And I remembered what I had been doing when I saw them there... I had been hanging curtains! Not that that was any help now! That is the type of thing that I associate with the idiom "a day late and a dollar short".

Zig, you have just helped me to feel so good about my memory loss. Hehe Im not that bad! I will walk from one room to the next and then forget what I went in there for. So I just stand there and think about it, look around the room to see if something turns the light back on. lol At first hubby was like, what are you doing? Now its, you forgot something? lol Bay xx

Yeah, when that happens to me I usually have to go back where I started from and then it comes back to me. The worst is when I go back to the room I had been in when I thought of the thing I wanted to get or do, and then I remember and so go again to do it or get it, and by the time I get back there I have forgotten again! Man!
