Notre Dame fans could be to blame

I was fortunate enough to receive tickets to this past game at UND when the Irish played the Air Force. I really felt as if the fans just were not there for the players. Do you believe that the fans can make the difference in a game? I noticed that when the crowd did really get alive and into the game the Irish would make a good play. Or maybe the other team just made a bad one. Either way, I think if the fans would be more supportive of the team ND would not be 1-9 this season. What do you think? Is it possible the fans are partially to blame?
