which flower to choose to a common friend's birthday?

tomorrow is my friend's bitrhday. she is a young lady. she is not my girl. just a common friend. i wanna give her flowers as birthday gift. but i don't know which kind of flower to choose. chinse rose? lily? chrysanthemum? rose? carnation? which flower and wihch colour will i choose?

If you mind the meaning of the flowers,maybe calla is more appropriate,the meaning of the calla is pure friendship,and the meaning of the lily is pure love,and impassioned love and wishes for strelitzia,the another name for strelitzia is heaven bird,I love this name very much.

In India, the people who admire ladies (their own ladies) they offer jasmine sewed properly made into a chain. This is to mark the love and affection. If jasmine is not available, you can give yeloow roses. Now scientistis have come out with blue roses, Why do not you try that.

why you take a bunch of flowers to her?why not a cake or other cute toys,such as cat,dog or others. if you just want flowers,how about the tulip with "???"?
