Man, I have been sitting here smelling something and I just have to go check it out!!! I mean, now I'm hungry!!! It smells pretty good... OK, I had to go into the kitchen to get a glass of water anyways (which I forgot to get and had to go back for)... He made chicken tortillas... mmmm.... they smelled really good!!!

Nah, just for himself, but he woulda given me one if I'd asked. It's late and I don't need to be eating again anyways. But the smell still lingers... mmmmm.....

Yum! That's great. Food always tastes better when someone else makes it for some reason. Now I'm getting hungry imagining your dinner!

Oh, it wasn't MY dinner, he was making his own. I actually didn't eat dinner last night, I had a very late, very large lunch and really wasn't hungry (until my son started cooking!!!).

Sorry, I caught that after I read the whole discussion. That's the one bad thing about replying straight from e-mail!

He took the last one to lunch yesterday. He's like me in that respect, make a little extra so you can have a good meal at work too!!

Beth, they're not too young. Mine have been "cooking" for ever it seems. They'd help out all the time in the kitchen. My youngest (21) loves to bake.

We actually had a pretty good conversation while I was checking out what he was making - and you only thought I was gone a second... Usually he just makes something easy like brioled steak or chicken with some rice.
